THANKS TO EDUCATION

It all started with eight shaggy-haired yaks loaded with overstuffed boxes of books. Now Room to Read is an international charity focused on eradicating illiteracy among children in the developing world. In 2015, this non-profit reached a major milestone: 10 million children benefitted. To celebrate this impact, Laura profiles three Okanagan women who share how education changed their lives.
